Mar 13, 2012: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. discussed plans for massive resistance in Alabama and Washington D.C. on the May 10, 1964 edition of Face the Nation.

MLK discusses marching against the Senate filibuster, segregation, and voting rights in 1964.

Interesting Note: This takes place during Lee Atwater’s “Southern Strategy” shifting of the GOP, and is discussed towards the end of this video.
