Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has bowed to pressure from Donald Trump and his cult and announced on Wednesday that he would be creating a special, fully-staffed Election Police Force for the state of Florida.
DeSantis had already claimed earlier this year that the state’s 2020 elections were totally safe and secure, but after repeated calls for audits from Trump’s allies he decided to throw them a bone in order to avoid angering them.
