Police are searching for two sisters who are accused of driving through Cincinnati and randomly shooting homeless people with a BB gun.
Arrest warrants have been issued for Brittany Hopper, 29, and Kelsey Hopper, 28, for what police call “incredibly senseless crimes.” Neither woman currently is in custody.
According to WCPO Channel 9, police say the sisters drove around the Over-the-Rhine neighborhood of Cincinnati with an unidentified male last Thursday and used the BB gun to shoot at homeless people, some of whom were sleeping.
Surveillance video recorded some of the incidents, WLWT Channel 5 reports.
The vehicle used in the shootings was found Monday in Covington, Kentucky, which is just south of Cincinnati, police say. The vehicle had been spray-painted in an attempt to hide it from authorities, police say.
Each sister faces three counts of assault. The identity of male involved has not been released.
